Big things have been happening here this Labor Day Weekend – I officially learned how to braid my hair! EEEK! (Notice all the braid pins on Pinterest all of a sudden??) I’ve now braided my hair four times in three days, so I’m pretty impressed with myself. I don’t know what it was, but something finally clicked and I could do it! Then I baked my very first loaves of bread ever today (zucchini bread which if it’s as amazing as it smells I’ll give you the recipe), and I’m getting ready to make my first fresh salsa! My mom grows tomatoes every year and I’ve helped my grandma and aunt can tomatoes (sauce, whole, and salsa), applesauce and green beans before many times, but I’ve never made my own salsa before – so I’m excited! College football kicks off today so you’ll be seeing lots of game recaps, and it’s middle Saturday of the US Open so you’ll be seeing that on the site! Fall is almost here – I hope you’re ready! SO happy to hear you can braid!! I must say i’ve never really been a fan of fishtail braids, but that was an interesting tutorial.
Also, i saw taylor swifts new video on friday…I love the song, but the furry people in the video confuse me…
