I’ve been looking around at cute DIY tips, and I’ve recently started coming across a few really cute ideas for New Years Eve parties. I’ve never had my own NYE party, but I’m seriously debating adding that party to my list of parties this year now after I’ve seen these below! Like always, the ideas are very easy to replicate and customize for your own particular theme!

First we’ll start with the cute drink station idea:

Now how cute is that idea for your midnight, pop the champagne moment? All you need are a few packs of balloons in a few different colors, preferably the pearlized colors, and some tape! Blow the balloons to different sizes for different bubble types and tape to the wall!

Next, we’ll go with a cute table, or window display:

Here, you can adapt the colors to a specific color scheme you have, but I fell in love with this idea. Now hopefully you like wine, and you can use your own corks, or you can buy new corks of all shapes and sizes. Next, you’ll need to make a slit in the cork to wedge the numbers, which I use a Cricut machine for, and then a star shaped hole punch to punch some stars out of. For the clock fans, those too are easy, simply get the paper fans that fold up, and attach chipboard or paper numbers and attach clock hands.

Now you know I always give a drink recipe, and for New Year’s Eve, usually you drink champagne, so first, a really cute and simple idea for the glasses:

All you need are adhesive numbers to add to the champagne glasses, and you have another simple and cute “countdown” theme idea.

And now for the recipe, which is a delicious Prosecco and raspberry idea:

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon Raspberry and Honey Puree

Prosecco or Champagne to top

Process:

Add the puree to a champagne flute. Top with the prosecco or champagne and swirl lightly with a spoon before serving.

One last idea, to add some more sparkle to your party:

These are extremely easy, just use sequin appliques and attach them to barbecue skewers. You can even use glitter scrapbook paper and cut stars out to save money. However, these would be very cute for your guests to “make a wish” going into the new year.

Stay tuned for more ideas, but I hope I’ve inspired you to have a rocking New Years Eve party now!
